Together with his wife Kim and their boys Andrew and Luke, Peter farms the 3900 ha property “Wandina”, 40 kilometres north of Clermont. Practicing zero-tillage since 1999 and converting to Control Traffic Farming in 2005, the mixed enterprise produces dryland sunflower, sorghum, corn, cotton, chickpea and wheat crops, and runs a small commercial cattle herd. An active member of the community; Peter is an AgForce Grains Director, long-time member of the Mt McLaren Silo Committee, former Grains Director and current Proxy for the CHRRUP NRM group, and a Committee member of the RTCA Clermont Groundwater and Environmental Reference Group.
