Dr Michael Widderick is principal research scientist and team leader for the DAFF Qld weed science team. He has 15 years experience in weed research in the areas of herbicide resistance, weed ecology and weed management. Current research is focusing on improved integrated weed management of key northern weeds, including the troublesome summer grasses, feathertop Rhodes, awnless barnyard and windmill.
