Jodie White is a plant pathologist with the Queensland Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. She has completed a PhD which investigated the pathotypes, epidemiology and economic importance of rust in sorghum. For the last two years she has been working on developing a technique for screening sorghum seedlings for resistance to Fusarium stalk rot.
